Yorkshire Conference : William Hague gives keynote speech
Posted: 8 November 2008 Filed under: Conservative Leave a comment »The Yorkshire Conference 2008 has come to an end with a rousing speech from Shadow Foreign Secretary, Chairman of the Northern Board and MP for Richmond, the Rt Hon William Hague MP.
William spoke about the important elections coming up next, the progress we’ve made in Yorkshire and the need to keep that going in the coming years.
It rounded off a packed two days at Wetherby Racecourse that saw a significantly expanded Yorkshire Conference hear from, amongst others, Eric Pickles MP, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and blogger Iain Dale.
